Being a volunteer in our programs offers a great opportunity to find oneself and discover personal growth, there’s no need for further experience or a high profile, you don’t even have to speak 100% Spanish, all you have to do is come with an open mind and a big heart, a willingness to learn and basically experience life. FAI’s Director and staff will provide full support to each and every volunteer, to all those who share our vision and support our organization, with this experience we learn from each other. We offer great possibilities for the future such as learning a new language and become a well acknowledge person at the educational level.

FAI offers equal opportunities to all national and international volunteers covering a wide number of activities. If you feel your Spanish has not improved a lot lately or you feel as fluent as the Mexican, we have a place for you! New facilities hosting visitors and volunteers are now a reality as we count with a construction site just across our office building so you have a closer look to one of our housing projects nowadays. We are planning to build ten straw-bale houses (mixed with adobe) each with its own set of beds, these include all services (running water) and a well equipped kitchen ready for your cooking at any moment.

You will also experience home warmth through a hosting family settled around the building which becomes our favorite route. In the past, volunteers have experienced incredible-life-changing moments, what you will learn here cannot be found somewhere else.
