Ayuda en Acción (Help in Action) is an independent, secular nongovernmental development organization with no party affiliation whose principal objective is to improve living conditions for children, families and communities in the most disadvantaged countries of the Americas , Asia and Africa .

Ayuda en Acción works for:

  • Social justice and equality, believing these are ways to form a more just and humane world
  • Integrated and sustainable development that goes beyond immediate program intervention, and creates structural changes that have wide-ranging effects
  • Solidarity and commitment to the interests of the marginalized and disadvantaged
  • Profound respect for democratic values
  • Finding ways to make natural resources sustainable

In 2001, FAI Sonora joined the organizations supported by Ayuda en Acción in Mexico to promote community development programs.

 
 

The Save the Children Austria International Alliance is the largest independent movement on behalf of children world-wide. The Alliance includes 27 national offices and organizes programs in more than 100 countries.

Save the Children Austria fights for the rights of children and achieves immediate and lasting changes in the lives of boys and girls around the world.

Save the Children Austria works for:

The purpose of the GlaxoSmithKline Foundation, created in 1989, is to contribute to the GSK Mission: “to improve the quality of human life by enabling people to do more, feel better and live longer.” GSK foments continuous medical research and education and supports community development programs in Mexico .

Currently, GSK is partnering with FAI Sonora in a personal hygiene program for boys and girls in southern Sonora.

 
 

Telefónica Foundation was created by agreement of the General Board of Stockholders on March 17, 1998 , with the objective of defining the social and cultural commitments of the Telefónica Group companies. The Foundation was formally established on July 20 of the same year and was registered in the Spanish Ministry of Education and Culture´s Special Foundations Registry, No. 498.

Since its establishment, Telefónica Foundation has been the primary means for promoting the social and cultural advocacy efforts of the Telefónica Group, which operates in Argentina , Brazil , Chile , Mexico , Peru , Venezuela and Morocco . Even though the Foundation’s advocacy efforts are carried out locally, its focus is global. And while each country’s foundation was established according to the laws of the respective nation, all share a common vision, objectives and work methods.

The action strategy of Telefónica Foundation is developed through various programs whose objective is to incorporate of information and communication technologies in educational settings, strengthening the Information Society now and in future in the countries where Telefónica Group operates.

One of the programs started by Telefónica Foundation is Proniño (Pro-child), an ambitious social action program that aims to eradicate child labor through schooling programs for child workers. FAI Sonora joined this effort in 2006.

This programa pays close personal attention to each child, offering support to families and schools so that child labor does not become an accepted alternative for families, stripping children of their rights.

 

Rotary International
It is the organization's oldest service club in the world and its more than 1.2 million members volunteer their time and expertise to promote the Rotary motto "Service Above Self Yes."

Two major projects that the Rotary Club has supported South Obregon Sonora FAI 510 backyard gardens in Moringa trees with two each.

The beneficiary communities are, the Sahuaral, Mochibampo, Etchehuaquila, the siphon, Jostahueca, Santa Maria del Buaraje.

 

ShareKindness (SK)

ShareKindness is a fundraising organization for charities. SK leverages its resources through a carefully selected group of service organizations and charities that have developed successful models and projects. SK utilizes modern techniques to provide interactive information and evidence of the effectiveness of donor contributions.
